Each TV has
several input options. This allows you to have multiple devices connected to
the TV at all times. Choosing the right input allows you to choose which device
you would like to utilize at any given time.
To view your IdeaTek TV channels, you will need to first note which input the IdeaTek Set Top Box (STB) or DVR is plugged into on your television . To determine this, you will need to look at the back of your STB or DVR and determine if your connection is established through composite, component, or HDMI cables. After determining which connection you use, follow the cables to the back of your television and note the location where the cables connect to the TV. Often times the plug-in area is labeled on your television as TV 1, TV 2, HDMI 1, HDMI 2, etc. The name you find at the plug-in area is the “input” you want to select on your TV to view your IdeaTek TV channels. To learn how to switch between input options on your TV, follow the instructions below. Changing the Input with Your IdeaTek Remote One way to change the desired input on your television is to use your IdeaTek remote.
