Find the Network Name & Password to My Router

IdeaTek currently supports the NETGEAR N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router if it has been purchased within the last 12 months directly from IdeaTek.

NETGEAR N600 Network Name and Password

If you bought your router directly from IdeaTek, your router should have an IdeaTek label with the Network Name (often labeled as SSID) and Password (often labeled as Passkey). If you have misplaced or lost that sticker you can see the standard format IdeaTek uses to supply the initial Network Name and Password for the wireless router.

The dual band router will show two possible radio frequency networks you can use to browse the internet.

SSID: YourLastName_Wifi_2.4GHz         Passkey: Your IdeaTek Account Number
SSID: YourLastName_Wifi_5GHz            Passkey: Your IdeaTek Account Number

If your NETGEAR N600 router has been factory reset you will need to return to the Network Name (SSID) and Password (Network Key) found on a sticker on the back of the router. You can see the location of those two items in the picture below.

It is also a violation of our acceptable use policy to have an open wireless network which uses our internet service.
