Power Cycle the CPE

Power Cycle – This is the act of turning a piece of equipment completely off and then on again.

It may be necessary to power cycle the Customer Premise Equipment (CPE) to restore proper service from the fiber cable. The CPE is the "main box" IdeaTek installed; the place where optic fiber service is delivered into the building and converted to digital and analog electrical signal for internet and telephone connections. There are three general models IdeaTek uses:  Telco Systems (Edgegate), Residential Allied Telesis, and Commercial Allied Telesis.

 Telco Systems
(In Buhler Only)
 Residential Allied Telesis

Commercial Allied Telesis
(In Grey Weatherproof Box)
